I am proud to be a part of the Center for Podiatric Medicine. As a foot and ankle surgeon I want to be a part of an outstanding, results oriented, group. Our group keeps a focus on the latest innovations, advanced training, and exciting new treatments.
During my Podiatric Medical Training at the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, I received honors performance in clinical studies and was awarded a scholarship from the State of Illinois.
During my surgical residency training, I was selected as the Chief Resident for my section. I am trained in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures, arthroscopy, laser surgery, and minimal incision surgery to name a few. I have received advanced training in nerve surgery and was fortunate to be highlighted nationally on WGN in 2001 for this technique. It has been my pleasure to address nerve compressions, chronic nerve pain, and even diabetic neuropathy for patients from around the Midwest and as far away as Washington State and New Mexico.
Currently, I am a surgical residency instructor. It is important to help train new residents and continue to use new advances in medicine and surgery.
I hope that you find our office and staff as respectful and knowledgeable as any in the field. Most importantly, at the Center for Podiatric Medicine we believe that our training does make a difference.
Thank you in advance,
Mark A. Jones, DPM

I am very excited to be a part of the Center for Podiatric Medicine family. My goal is not only to provide the best podiatric medical and surgical care, but also establish a more personal relationship with my patients and their families.
I think all of us have noticed the overall trend in medicine which has forced doctors to see more patients in a shorter time. This has meant difficulty in scheduling appointments, longer waiting times, and less time to ask questions and fully understand your medical problem. I believe in making myself available to all of my patients and taking the time to develop treatment plans with patients and their families. The first step in this process is for you to get to know me a little better.
After graduating with a degree in Zoology from Michigan State University, I attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. I spent my time assisting in research projects as well as excelling in my studies and graduated with honors in 1999. After graduating, I moved to Washington for a two year surgical residency. I trained with some of the top surgeons in the country and learned all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. As Chief Resident, I was also certified in arthroscopy, endoscopy, and extensive flatfoot reconstructive procedures. I also took a special interest in sports medicine and received advanced training in this area and also published a paper in unusual Achilles tendon ruptures.
After completing my rigorous surgical training, I moved back to Chicago. I was Board Certified in Foot Surgery in 2004 and continue to enjoy privileges at several local hospitals and surgery centers.
I am very excited about Podiatry and many of the new techniques, advances and treatments that I can offer to my patients. I look forward to meeting you and developing a relationship of comfort and trust so we can work together to solve your foot and ankle problems.
Thank you in advance,
Bryan Hersh, DPM
